About us:

End of busy visiting season: Ruth & Peter approaching!

On November 10th Ruth and Peter will touch down for the second time at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson Airport. For them the flight and immigration procedure should be routine, since they went through everything last year when they accompanied us on our combined wedding and house hunting trip. And although they have seen most of Atlanta's tourist attractions, the neighborhood we moved to and so on, Ruth and Peter might be even more curious than our other visitors about what to expect. Especially how the Loft turned out finally - they only have seen it under construction...
However, the two of them won't need to waste their time with the usual sightseeing....so we will have the chance to expose them to the American way of life as we experience it every day. In the first week they will stay with us we have two celebrations coming up, because both of them are November-Babies. We already have some fine restaurants in mind for the party, but of course it will be up to the birthday boy/girl to make a choice! Also Ruth & Peter will get their portion of spectator sports: A Thrashers game and Georgia Tech Football are already scheduled for them. We are convinced that even "mother Ruth" will enjoy these events, although she doesn't really care about sports in general.

In the second week of their stay Ruth & Peter have plans to go on a road trip to Savannah and Charleston for a few days. We expect them back by Thanksgiving when Thorsten and I finally have two days off to get some rest. We haven't made any plans for these two days yet, but rest assured - we certainly will come up with something... Have a save trip!
