Foda (left) will arrive on January 31st:Thorsten's very good friend for years, who is, like Thorsten, totally into American Football, planned his trip in order to watch the Super Bowl at least once at a pleasant broadcasting time. So we are going to have a Super Bowl Party at home. Since this is our first Super Bowl Party we also invited some real Americans to make sure that we don't screw up... However, we are looking forward to going to a basket ball game, when the Los Angeles Lakers are playing against the Atlanta Hawks. Unfortunately Foda doesn't bring along his wife Katja and his son Nils. He thinks that the trip might be too stressful for them. Maybe he's right, because Nils is not even one year old. In addition both of them are not really interested in American Football. Katja and Nils, we'll miss you! Hopefully the two of you will join us the next time.
Sabine will arrive on February 10th:Thorsten's sister could not wait visiting us in Atlanta and wanted to come over last year in October. We did not want to disappoint her, but we definitely could not have been good hosts back then. We haven't moved into the Loft at that time and still had a lot of things to take care for. It would not have been fun for a visitor to join us with all that administration and organization stuff going on. But now we're all set and have lots of ideas what to show her and where to take her. Sabine's husband will not accompany her because "er fliegt net uff America! Zum Bush, dem ....". Too bad! We are sure you would like it here, Gerd! We already have plans to make a weekend trip to the coast with Sabine. Destination Savannah.
